Yuri Herrera

Biography

Yuri Herrera was born in Actopan in 1970. He studied politics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, took a master’s in creative writing at the University of Texas in El Paso and a doctorate in Hispanic Language and Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. He had considerable success with his first novel and has gone on to write novels and children’s books.
