Rabih Alameddine

Biography

Rabih Alameddine was born in Amman, Jordan to Lebanese Druze parents in 1959. He grew up in Kuwait and Lebanon, before moving first to England and then to California. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in engineering and the University of San Francisco, where he took an MBA. He initially worked as an engineer, before becoming a writer and painter. He has gone on to write a series of well-received novels and stories.
