Biography

Martin Vopenka was born in 1963 in Prague. His father was a well-known mathematician and later Minister of Education. His mother was of Jewish descent. He graduated from the Nuclear and Physical engineering.His mother was of Jewish descent. He graduated from the of Nuclear and Physical Engineering Faculty of of the Czech Technical University in Prague. While he graduated, he did not work in that field but worked at the Czech Psychiatric Institute in Prague. While he graduated, he did not work in that field but worked at the Czech Psychiatric Rresearch Institute in Prague. He founded the Prah publishing house.

He has written a numerous works fiction and non-fiction as well as work for yyoung adults.
Two of his novels and a biography have been translated into English.
