Biography
Vladimir Paral was born in 1923 inPrague. He grew up in Brno. His father was an army officer. He studied chemical engineering inBrno. He worked in various places in the field of chemical engineering.
He started writing in 1962 and his books have been said to be like chemical experiments – placing characters in situations and testing their reactions. He later turned to science fiction. Three of his novels have been translated into English.
