Augusto Higa Oshiro

Biography

Augusto Higa Oshiro was born in Lima in 1946. He studied literature at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. He subsequently taught literature at the Universidad Villarreal. He was a member of the Grupo Narración. He has written novels and stories. He spent eighteen months in Japan in the 1990s which became the basis for his book Japon no da dos oportunidades [Japan does not give two chances].
