Joël Dicker

Biography

Joël Dicker was born in1985 in Geneva. His father was a teacher and his mother a bookseller. He studied law at the University of Geneva. He first started publishing at the age of ten, publishing a nature magazine, which ran for seven years. He achieved considerable fame, winning the Goncourt Prix des lycéens, with his second novel, La Vérité sur l’affaire Harry Quebert (The Truth about the Harry Quebert Affair).
