Offbeat Generation
A group of English writers united by their contempt for mainstream publishing. They enjoy punk music, use MySpace to disseminate their work and are associated with 3 a.m. Magazine and the Brutalists. Their subjects are the usual ones of disaffected youth – sex, drugs, alienation, poverty, anger and so on. Social Disease will be publishing a collection of their stories and poems. Their main spokesperson is Andrew Gallix.
