Bianca Bellova was born in1970 in Prague. She is of Bulgarian descent. She studied at the University of Economics in Prague, she worked as a translator and interpreter of English. She made a trip across India and then started writing.She had considerable success with her novel Jezero (The Lake) which was translated into several languages, including English. Her husband is Adrian T. Bell , lead singer of the band The Prostitutes,
