Mohammed Said Hjiouij


Mohammed Said Hjiouij was born in in 1982 in Tangiers. He published a newspaper specialising in technology. The newspaper only published two issues, and was discontinued for financial reasons. Then, with two friends, he started another newspaper project, this time a monthly newspaper specialising in culture and literature, called Literary Tangier. The newspaper continued publication for more than two years. He subsequently focussed on blogging and then created a link-sharing site. In 2010, he was elected president of the Moroccan Centre for Modern Technologies, after holding its founding meeting. He has published stories, novels, essays and poetry.
