Biography
Touhfat Mouhtare was born in 1986 in Moroni. She lived in various Sub-Saharan countries before moving to France where she studiedEnglish-speaking language and civilisations. at the Sorbonne She has written a thesis on the use of digital systems in oral cultures. She has written a book of short stories focussing on the role of women in the Comoros and two novels, one of which has been translated into English.
