Haji Jabir
Biography
Haji Jabir was born in 1976 in Massawa. His family later moved to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia because of the Ethiopian bombing of Eritrea. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and worked as a journalist for a number of Saudi newspapers and a correspondent for some European satellite channels. He currently works as a journalist for Al-Jazeera. He has written five novels, one of which has been translated into English.
