Yvonne Vera
Biography
Yvonne Vera was born in 1964 in Bulawayo in what was then Southern Rhodesia but is now Zimbabwe. She attended university in York University in Canada, where she obtained a B.A., M.A. and doctorate in English. She became a Director of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. She died from meningitis in 2005.
