Biography

Ibrahim Nasrallah was born in1954 in Amman. His parents were displaced from their land in the village of Al-Burayj. He grew up in a refugee camp in Jordan. He studied in UNRWA schools in Al-Wahdat camp, and obtained a diploma in education and psychology from the Amman Training Centre for Teacher Preparation in Amman. He worked as a teacher in Saudi Arabia, before returning to Amman. Since then he has devoted his life to writing. He has written poetry and novels for both adults and children. He has been writing the Palestinian Comedy covering 250 years of modern Palestinian history in a series of novels in which each novel is an independent. one. Six of his novels and a collection of his poetry have been published in English.
