Leila S Chudori
Leila S(alikha) Chudori was born in Jakarta in 1962. Her father, Muhammad, was a journalist and was one of the founders of the Jakarta Post. She studied at Trent University in Ontario, Canada and then worked as a journalist for the Jakarta Jakarta and Tempo magazines. Tempo was later banned by the Suharto regime. She initially wrote stories for children, when young, but went on to be a television and film scriptwriter.
