Hye Young-Pyun

Biography

Hye Young-Pyun was born in Seoul in 1972. She graduated from the Creative Arts Department of Seoul Arts College and from Hanyang University, with a master’s degree in Korean Language and Literature. Her first novel won an award from a Korean newspaper. She worked for some time as an office worker and this can be seen in her writing, where office workers often appear. She is currently professor of creative writing at Myongji University. She has written novels and short stories.
