Un Su Kim was born in 1972 in Busan. He completed the bachelor’s and master’s programmes in Korean language and literature at Kyunghee University. He started writing early and won an award for a short story, before writing his first novel –
벗 캐비닛 (The Cabinet) – for which he also won an award. He has since gone on to write other novels, which have won acclaim
