Ivana Bodrožić

Biography

Ivana Bodrožić was born in Vukovar in 1982. Her father, Ante Bodrožić, was killed in the Vukovar massacre while she and her mother and brother fled occupied Vukovar and settled in Zagreb and Kumrovec as refugees. She graduated in philosophy and Croatian studies from the University of Zagreb. She has written novels, short stories and poetry. Two of her novels have been translated into English.
