Josef Pánek

Biography

Josef Pánek was born in Prague in 1966. He was awarded his doctorate at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University and now specialises in computational molecular genetics at the Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He has travelled extensively abroad and has lived in Norway and Australia. He is also a musician and mountaineer. He has written a collection of short stories and a novel.
