Ion Druță
Biography
Ion Druță (also known as Ion Drutse) was born in 1928 in Horodişte. He worked as a journalist before moving to Moscow, where he wrote novels, plays and essays in Russian. He was also responsible for the 97 ft tall special Thanksgiving Candle in Soroca, Moldova.
