Agnieszka Taborska

Biography

Agnieszka Taborska was born in 1961 in Warsaw. She took MAs from the University of Warsaw in art history and French philology.She as been a lecturer on European art, film and literature at the Rhode Island School of Design since 1988. Her special interests are French surrealism and how women are portrayed in Western art and literature of the late 19th and early 20th century. She has written essays, short stories, books for children, novels, screenplays and stage plays, with two books translated into English.
