Filip Florian
Biography
Filip Florian was born in Bucharest in 1968. He studied geology and geophysics in Bucharest and then became a journalist. He went on to write four novels, one with his brother Matei. He gave up journalism as he said your mind simply gets bogged down. He has had considerable success in Germany and said of Germany that it is a kind of mother of all the literary wounded of the East.
