Eugenia Kononenko
Biography
Eugenia Kononenko was born in 1959 in Kyiv. She graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Kyiv State University and in French philology from the Kyiv Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. She works as a researcher at the Ukrainian Centre for Cultural Studies. She has written novels, short stories, poetry, essays and children’s books as well as translating many works from French and English.
