Biography
Volodymyr Rafeyenko (aka Volodymyr Rafeienko, Vladimir Rafeyenko)was born in 1969 in Donetsk. He graduated from the Donetsk National University in Russian Philology and Cultural Studies. He worked as an editor and compiler for various publishing houses. He started publishing in the regional press in 1992. His first book was published in 1998. His books were published in Russian but he then switched to Ukrainian for his 2019 novel Мондеґрін. Пісні про смерть і любов (Mondegreen : Songs about Death and Love).
