Margherita Giacobino

Biography

Margherita Giacobino was born in 1952 in Turin. She has worked as a journalist, writer, translator and film director. She has translated Wuthering Heights, Madame Bovary and the works of Margaret Atwood, Dorothy Allison, Audre Lord and Kate Atkinson into Italian. As well as novels and short stories, she has also written works on literature, gender studies and lesbian issues.
