Inês Pedrosa

Biography

Inês Pedrosa was born in Coimbra in 1962. She took a degree in social communication from the New University of Lisbon. She then worked as a journalist for various publications, including editing Marie Claire. She has also been an advocate for abortion and gay marriage. She was official spokesperson for Manuel Alegre. She has written novels, poetry and articles on women’s issues and edited an anthology of Portuguese poetry.
