James Robertson

Biography

James Robertson was born in 1958 in Kent but grew up in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire from the age of six. He studied history at the University of Edinburgh. He worked at various jobs before becoming a full-time writer. He founded the publisher Itchy-Coo, which specialises in children’s books, written in Scots. He works for them as a writer and editor. He also runs the independent publisher Kettillonia.
