Fernando Aramburu

Biography

Fernando Aramburu was born in San Sebastián in 1959. He graduated in Spanish philology from the University of Zaragoza. He became involved with a Basque counter-cultural group called Grupo CLOC (link in Spanish). In 1985 he moved to Germany where he taught Spanish. In 2009 he concentrated full-time on his writing. He has published novels, stories, children’s books and essays.
