Generación Inexistente [Non-existent generation]

Generación Inexistente [Non-existent generation] refers to Mexican fiction writers who were born between 1970 and 1979. They were the first generation to use the Internet and social media and spend much more time promoting their work and discussing it with one another and with others, through social media, blogs, etc. Initially, there was some concern that their works were not well-known by the reading public but that is starting to change, at least as regards the Mexican reading public. The other key feature is that they consider themselves an orphan generation, i.e. not following on from previous generations.
