Sergio Galindo

Biography

Sergio Galindo was born in 1926 in Jalapa. He studied literature at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México before finishing his studies in France. He became a professor of aesthetics in Jalapa. He was then founder and editor-in-chief of the Veracruz University publisher and edited the magazine La palabra y el hombre. He was later director general of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. He wrote four books of short stories and nine novels. He died in 1993.
