Lucy Ellmann

Biography

Lucy Ellmann was born in Evanston, Illinois, in 1956. Her father was Richard Ellmann, the biographer of Joyce Wilde and Yeats, and her mother, Mary Ellmann, the literary critic. She moved to England when she was thirteen and attended the Falmouth School of Art, Essex University and the Courtauld Institute of Art. She is married to the writer Todd McEwen. She has written seven novels.
