Gli Intemperanti [The Intemperates]
A group of young Italian writers, born in the 1960s and 1970s, who appeared in the anthology Gli Intemperanti. At the same time the publisher Meridiano Zero launched a series of works written by authors of this group. As well as being young, the group was characterised by writing experimental fiction. Many of them worked in other media (TV, radio, cinema, press, publishing, comic strips). They were all opposed to the noia of the previous generation. Their stories had to give a fundamentally unconventional point of view. Belloni has since published an anthology of younger writers under the title I giovani cosmetici [The Young Cosmetics].
