Biography
Jessica Anderson was born in Brisbane in 1916 though has spent most of her life in Sydney. She only started to write novels at age 40 though had previously written short stories and drama scripts for radio. Her style is, in many ways, reminiscent of Henry James, whose work she had adapted for the radio. She died in 2010.
